Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a prosperous family. She is the third child in the family. In a convent she developed an obsession with artwork. Later, she studied at in the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin but left due to the fact that she had a lack of motivation. The thought was that she'd take a break in order to regain the hang of things. As she was sitting with friends at a cafe an artist approached her and demanded to be a model. In the hopes that she would make some pocket money from it, she agreed. In no time, she began working professional as modeling. Modeling contracts lead to commercials, and she travelled the globe. Then, one day, a casting director was impressed by her work and suggested that she consider acting instead. At the age of 19, the casting director accompanied her to London which she landed an audition to be a part of A View to a Kill, the latest James Bond film. It was her passion for acting that led her to pursue it as a profession. Following her debut film and a short film, she filmed a couple of TV shows in London as well as in Dublin But her most memorable success came when her name was cast as Aryan Seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
